Lisbon hosts a wide variety of music festivals that animate the city during the summer. From mega productions to more intimate festivals, there is music for all tastes.

NOS Alive
One of the most famous and vibrant festivals in Portugal promises us that this year's edition will be "The Best Return Ever". For 2022, NOS Alive presents us with a lineup full of names such as Metallica, Florence+The Machine, Imagine Dragons, Stromae, The Strokes, among many other renowned artists.

Passeio Marítimo de Algés 

Rock in Rio
It is known as the "City of Rock", but Rock in Rio is not just a rock festival. Here you can hear the most diverse musical styles that attract a large number of live music fans. This year will feature concerts by Muse, Liam Gallagher, The National, Duran Duran, Post Malone, The Black Eyed Peas, Anitta, among others.

Bela Vista Park, Lisbon

Much more than a music festival, Kalorama is an event that promises to bring a "real, physical and unique experience" combining art, music and sustainability. Despite being held for the first time this year, it has a lineup with big names such as Arctic Monkeys, The Chemical Brothers, Chet Faker, Legendary Tigerman, Ornatos Violeta and Kraftwerk.

EDP Cool Jazz
A musical event with an intimate atmosphere where the public is invited to watch performances by renowned artists. EDP Cool Jazz brings together music, nature and heritage, being one of the most emblematic jazz festivals in the country. The 2022 edition will feature performances by Diana Krall, Yann Tiersen, John Legend, Paul Anka and much more.

Puppets like you've never seen

If you like puppets and the most diverse animated figures then you can't miss FIMFA. This is a festival marked by irreverence, presenting a wide variety of creative, high quality shows for the most diverse audiences. Imagining, dreaming and making things come true are the mottos of the International Festival of Puppets and Animated Forms, which fills some of Lisbon's theatres with life throughout May and early June.
